The Opportunity
This position will be responsible for the day-to-day reporting required by current Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/Terrorist Financing legislation and the ongoing maintenance of a robust compliance regime. Specifically, the candidate will be focused on auditing account openings for adherence to AML/MSR procedures, regular review of wire transfers, and ongoing monitoring of all relevant areas under the compliance regime.
This position will be responsible for the day-to-day reporting required by current Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/Terrorist Financing legislation and the ongoing maintenance of a robust compliance regime. Specifically, the candidate will be focused on auditing account openings for adherence to AML/MSR procedures, regular review of wire transfers, and ongoing monitoring of all relevant areas under the compliance regime.
In addition, the candidate will work very closely with the Member Services team to provide specialized knowledge and support. Responsibilities in this area will include resolving digital banking issues for members, CAFT administration, fraud investigation, along with being a backup for cash as required. In this evolving role, the successful candidate will be adaptable and be able to embrace new member service initiatives and projects as they arise.
This unique and collaborative role will report to both the Manager, HR & Compliance and the Manager, Member Services.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and/or related post-secondary training. As a self-motivated, proactive individual, you have a proven track record of cross-functional collaboration and strong critical thinking skills. You are described as a strong communicator with the ability to readily adapt to the constant change in the financial services sector. The successful candidate will also be a highly organized, detail-oriented person with a high degree of accuracy.
