SVCU’s commitment to supporting our local community is the foundation of who we are. Since 1953 we have been giving back to local youth through sports and education. Provided continuous support to the economic development of the valley and provided resources to the charitable organizations and volunteers that help make our community prosper.
My Community Matters Grant
Continuing with our commitment to our community SVCU is proud to offer the My Community Matters Grant(s).
This grant will be available through an application process to those groups or organizations looking to develop/improve new or existing programs and/or facilities that support education and/or the economic development of the valley and our local trading area.
A total of $20,000 is available through the My Community Matters Grant. The number of successful recipients and the grant amount awarded will be determined by the Grant Evaluation Committee.
Donations, Scholarships & Sponsorships
Annually SVCU donates over $70,000 back into our community through donations, grants, sponsorships and scholarships. Assisting over 135 non-profit organizations in support of youth and senior programming, athletic development, infrastructure, community events and economic growth.
